The inpatient treatment setting is offering an extended detoxification treatment comprising withdrawal from alcohol and drugs, psychotherapeutic treatment of addictive behaviour and diagnosis and treatment of comorbid psychiatric disorders like depression and anxiety.
The extended detoxification treatment program comprises for example the following aspects:
- Groups providing information on the development and treatment of addictive disorders
- Group therapy to enhance patients’ motivation to change
- Relapse prevention training to develop coping skills to successfully handle high-risk situations in the future
