Center of Psychological
Psychotherapy Mannheim

Welcome to the CPP Mannheim!

We appreciate your interest in our offer. On the following pages we want to inform you about our institute and our training programs.

Since July 1, 2014, the CPP Mannheim has been a core facility at the Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology Institute under the sponsorship of the Central Institute for Mental Health (CIMH). The development and implementation of the theoretical and outpatient program take place in cooperation with the Otto Selz Institute of the University of Mannheim.

The CPP Mannheim serves primarily for the postgraduate scientific and professional training of psychologists so they become psychological psychotherapists and child and adolescent psychotherapists.

The Psychological Psychotherapy with emphasis on Behavioral Therapy training courses offered by the CPP Mannheim should impart the current scientific knowledge, abilities and skills necessary for diagnosing as well as providing psychotherapy and rehabilitation measures to patients with clinically significant emotional disorders for whom psychotherapy is indicated, including the accompanying co-treatments in case of physical illnesses, while taking ethical and occupational law regulations into account.

The CPP Mannheim is member of the union of university courses for psychotherapy. As a non-profit organization has set itself the target to secure the close link between a state-approved training in psychotherapy and research in clinical psychology and psychotherapy what guarantees a high quality and actuality in the training of psychotherapists .
