Valery Grinevich
About me
From the time of my PhD (1992-1996, Saint-Petersburg) until now I kept my interest in peptidergic signaling within the mammalian brain. Luckily throughout my career I found excellent people, sharing my passion in this research direction. Currently my team at the Central Institute of Mental Health is successfully exploring novel mechanisms of central actions of neuropeptides (primarily oxytocin) on pain, fear and socio-sexual behaviors.
