Our Team - Together for Open Science
The CIMH Open Science Office was founded to coordinate the many great open science and reproducibility initiatives at the institute. Our goal is to promote open science, strengthen exchange and support researchers in implementing open science practices.
The Office is part of the CIMH Office for Research Strategy and Research Support, playing a key role in fostering scientific excellence and strategic development. It is led by the scientific head, PD Dr. Gordon Feld, and the administrative head, PD Dr. Melanie Fritz, who work together to ensure effective coordination and support.
The CIMH was one of the first institutions to join the German Reproducibility Network (GRN). This sends out a strong signal for open and reproducible research and strengthens the open science approach at the institute.
But Open Science is a collaborative effort! Our office is supported by many motivated researchers from different research groups and labs who are actively committed to transparent and reproducible science.
