The TrePsy Project

The TrePsy project is a collaboration of four leading European brain research centers to develop novel treatments of psychiatric disorders. "TrePsy" stands for "Towards new treatments of psychiatric disorders - a systems-oriented approach".

The goal of the trans-European collaborative project is to intensify the exchange between scientists in the field of neuropsychopharmacology. A unique and advanced research curriculum for students and young female scientists will be created to optimally prepare them for a career in neuropharmacological research.

The institutions associated in the TrePsy project are:

  • Maj Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IP PAS), Krakow/ Poland
  • Miguel Hernández University, Alicante/ Spain
  • Neurocentre Magendie, Bordeaux/ France
  • Institute for Psychopharmacology at the Central Institute of Mental Health in Mannheim, Germany

The institutions form a cluster of excellence in the field of neuropsychopharmacology.
