About me

I am interested in creating new interventions for young people with early mental health problems – from the lab to daily life. In this process, I love bringing together diverse perspectives on digital (global) mental health, mixed methods, and participatory research.

 

Projects

  1. Neuroscience meets Digital Mental Health: Pilot an ecological momentary intervention (EMI) app to transfer emotion regulation techniques acquired with neurofeedback to daily life
  2. Intervention Design for Adolescent Mental Health in Africa: Understand sociocultural differences of emotion regulation and leverage human-centered design for a hybrid mental health intervention in Kenya & Tanzania

  • Innovation and business development for different digital health startups, and a venture capital firm in Germany
  • Monitoring & evaluation of international development cooperation projects (i.e., from GIZ)
  • Consultant in global digital mental health for UNICEF and a Kenyan NGO
