About me

Ngoc is a PhD student at the HITBR laboratory and is enrolled on the International PhD programme at the Heidelberg Bioscience International Graduate School (HBIGS) at the University of Heidelberg. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Osaka, Japan, and her Master of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience from Tübingen University, Germany. For her master's thesis at the HITBR laboratory, she investigated the endogenous circadian rhythm in induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived progenitors and neurons. For her PhD research project, she is studying the effects of substance abuse at cellular and molecular levels using iPSC-derived neurons. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cafés, reading books, cooking and travelling.
