Ngoc is a PhD student at the HITBR laboratory and is enrolled in the Heidelberg Bioscience International Graduate School (HBIGS) International PhD program from the University of Heidelberg. She received her B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biology Combined Major from the University of Osaka, Japan and her M.Sc. in Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience from the Tuebingen University, Germany. In her master's thesis at the HITBR laboratory, she investigated the endogenous circadian rhythm in iPSC-derived progenitors and neurons. For her PhD reseach project, she focuses on studying the effects of substance abuse on cellular and molecular levels using iPSC-derived neurons. In her free time, Ngoc enjoys exploring new cafes, reading books, cooking and travelling.
