Andreas-W. Möller becomes Managing Director of the Central Institute of Mental Health (CIMH) in Mannheim. The Supervisory Board has decided to continue to entrust him with this position, which he had already assumed on an interim basis following the departure of Dr. Matthias Janta in December 2023. Möller has already been working as Deputy Managing Director at the CIMH for many years and headed up the Human Resources and Legal Department.  “Mr. Möller is a highly respected hospital and science manager who will provide important new impetus for the development of the CIMH,” says Dr. Carsten Dose, Head of the Department of University Medicine at the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the CIMH.

Exciting challenges

“At present and in the future, we at the CIMH are facing exciting challenges. I am very much looking forward to tackling these diverse tasks together with Professor Meyer-Lindenberg and all employees. At the CIMH, we have great innovative strength and an excellent position in the healthcare and research landscape,” says Andreas-W. Möller.

Stefan Bischoff, Head of Finance, will take over the position of Deputy Managing Director.
