Dr. Matthias Janta, who has been the Commercial Director of CIMH since 2020, will leave the institute in December to pursue a new professional challenge. The Deputy Commercial Director, Andreas-W. Möller, will take over his duties on the board until a successor is appointed by the CIMH Supervisory Board.
Economic Stability Secured
Dr. Matthias Janta has been the Commercial Director of CIMH since 2020. During his tenure, CIMH experienced dynamic and successful development in both research and healthcare. Under challenging conditions, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic and evolving conditions in psychiatric-psychotherapeutic care, he successfully ensured the economic stability of CIMH and opened up new development perspectives for the institute.

University of Heidelberg's Rector in the Supervisory Board
Upon taking office as Rector, Prof. Dr. Frauke Melchior has assumed the position of the representative of the University of Heidelberg in the CIMH Supervisory Board, succeeding her predecessor. CIMH is closely connected to the University of Heidelberg through a cooperation agreement. The jointly appointed professors of CIMH are members of the Medical Faculty Mannheim. Additionally, both institutions are part of the Health + Life Science Alliance Heidelberg Mannheim.
