Mindfulness Essentials

Mindfulness is a scientifically grounded method to strengthen mental resilience and reduce stress. This course offers a structured introduction to mindfulness practices that can be easily integrated into everyday life and the workplace. No prior experience is required – the course is suitable for anyone looking to improve focus, balance, and overall well-being.

Description

The 6 weeks mindfulness course will have one session of 90 min every week. 

Each session includes:

  • 30 minutes of introduction and group discussion
  • 30 minutes of gentle yoga and breathing exercises
  • 30 minutes of mindful body scanning

Benefits of Mindfulness - Scientific research has shown that mindfulness offers numerous benefits, including improved sleep quality, enhanced focus, better stress management, reduced impact of physical and emotional pain, faster recovery from illness, slower aging, effective weight management, and more.

By the end of the 6 weeks - You should be able to integrate mindfulness practices your daily routine. You would also be eligible to participate in the advanced mindfulness course.

General Guidelines - For best practice
1. Wear comfortable clothes during the session and make yourself comfortable.
2. Avoid consuming any stimulants (e.g. caffeine) at least 2 hours before the session.
3. Avoid eating more than half of your usual portion before the session.

Target group

All employees of the ZI. 

The course is particularly suited for beginners who want to explore mindfulness in a structured and supportive setting.
