Registration Fees and Terms & Conditions

Registration for the MEEP – Heidelberg Summer School on Memory and Sleep is now open. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage early registration.

Your registration fee includes access to all scientific sessions, lunches and coffee breaks throughout the summer school, and a social evening aboard one of Heidelberg's historic event trams

Terms and Conditions

1) Cancellation policy 

Cancellations must be made in text form (e.g., by email). The date of receipt by the organizer is decisive for meeting any deadlines.

Cancellation until before April 15th: free of charge

Cancellation until May 15th: 50% of the participation fee 

Cancellation from May 15th/no-show: 100% of the participation fee 

You may nominate a substitute participant free of charge until May 15th.

2) Statutory right of withdrawal (if applicable)

If you register as a consumer via distance communication (e.g., online form/email), you may generally have a statutory right of withdrawal.

However, a statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for services in connection with leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period for performance (Section 312g (2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB)).

If, in an individual case, a right of withdrawal does apply, the following withdrawal information applies:

Withdrawal information

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us:

by means of a clear statement (e.g., an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we receive the notification of your withdrawal.
