Dr. Lara Barteczko
About me
I developed an interest in the field of neuroscience already during my studies of Molecular Medicine. After my master studies, I joined the lab of Valery Grinevich for my PhD to deepen my knowledge of neuroanatomy and focus on Oxytocin research. In my PhD project I study the role of Oxytocin in the medial entorhinal cortex-hippocampus domain and its potential influence on socio-spatial behaviors. Additionally, for the last two years I was responsible for the AAV production for our group and collaborators worldwide.
Lara holds a M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Molecular Medicine from the University of Ulm. She is currently about to finish her PhD in our group.
