Dr. Lara Barteczko

About me

I developed an interest in neuroscience during my Molecular Medicine studies. After completing my Master's degree, I joined Valery Grinevich's lab to undertake my PhD, deepening my knowledge of neuroanatomy and focusing on oxytocin research. My PhD project involves studying the role of oxytocin in the medial entorhinal cortex–hippocampus domain and its potential influence on socio-spatial behaviours. For the last two years, I have also been responsible for AAV production for our group and collaborators worldwide.

Lara holds an MSc and a BSc in Molecular Medicine, both from the University of Ulm. She is about to complete her PhD with our group.
